Today we had a wonderful trip to the Nordkapp. The two of us sat comfortably in a Mercedes SUV and were driven to the Nordkapp as a couple. The tour guide was very friendly and provided us with a lot of insider knowledge and told us about everyday life on the island.
You don't have to worry at all about whether you'll make it back to the ship, because that's explicitly taken into account.
We would definitely do the trip again with North Cape Tours next time!

Not suitable for wheelchair users and not recommended. We were promised a bus with a lift when booking. However, we were forgotten, when we arrived there was no bus suitable for us. Then we had to wait another 4 hours until something was organized. Very poor communication and lots of lies.
A lot of people are confused at this company, so please be careful.
PS: After replying from the company: I was informed by email that a bus with a lift would be available for us, before booking and also after booking, so confirmed twice by email.

The drive from Honningsvag to North Cape is remarkable; reindeer, rivers, lakes, rolling landscape and humorous commentary, should not be missed by anyone, let alone someone in a wheelchair. My gratitude and memories cannot be expressed in words for the glorious day I spent at the top of the world!

Despite the uninviting weather, the tour from Honningsvåg to the North Cape was a real pleasure! We had a very friendly and funny bus driver who skillfully chauffeured us along the very narrow streets and also paid attention to "crossing" reindeer. The mood was great! What a fantastic tour to Cape North with Bernadette, very knowledgeable driver / guide in a beautiful Mercedes minibus for just the 2 of us by default not by design. We were lucky. It allowed us to stop more often as well as film reindeers crossing etc Extremely windy day though here 😬 . We really enjoyed Honnigsvad 🥰 Thank youuuu for an amazing day.

Good tour. Our tour guide and chauffeur Bernadette is very capable and makes the tour to Nordkapp a pleasant experience.

What I didn't appreciate at all however, is the fact that a 10h00 tour costs €50, but for the same tour at 11h40 they charge €90. Please don't be an a-hole, guys.

Dont take this tour. It is true the tour is cheaper than the ones offered by the cruises but it is still expensive for the service offered, which was terrible. We paid 240€ per 2 adults and 1 kid, we took the express one that said we would be back by 14.15h, to be able to then walk around the town before we hop on our Cruise again. However, once we got to the cape north the driver told us she would be back to pick us up by 14.20h, which was even later than the hour we were supposed to be back, when we asked they said they had to take the first group to town and then coming back. Finally at 14.30h some buses arrived but not ours, they said it was broken and would come 20min later, 40min more passed and the bus didn't show up. Finally at 15.10h we were able to get the bus to come back, arriving at the Quay at 16.15h, 2h after planned and just 15min before our cruise departure time, we didn't get the chance to visit honningsvag and we were so afraid to lose our Cruise that we couldn't enjoy the experience

We made an online reservation with North Cape Tours (NCT) to take their North Cape Summer Tour as an independent excursion from the Havila Pollux. We thought it would be a nice, less expensive alternative to the excursion offered by the cruise line.

The NCT tour turned out to be excellent. The bus was smaller (18 to 20 seats) than the full size buses used for the cruise ship excursions. That was nice. The bus driver/tour guide was friendly and informative.

We enjoyed the two short stops that the tour made on the way to the North Cape. The bus left the port about 10 minute after the posted meeting time of 11:15. But we still managed to make the two planned stops (about 5 minutes each) and had the full one hour and 20 minutes at the North Cape. We arrived back at the port in of time to get an ice cream and reboard the ship at the correct time. Because the bus was smaller, the guide was able to drop us right at the ship.

A few things to note:

1. North Cape Tours is a small company. They seem to struggle to respond to pre-booking inquiries in a timely manner. But they do eventually respond. I’m told that they can also be reached by calling Book Finnmark, which is apparently an affiliated company.

2. There are two separate NCT tours that are designed for passengers on the Hurtigruten and Havila Coastal Express cruises. One is the North Cape Summer Tour and the other is the North Cape Express Tour. They both leave the port at 11:15 and return to the port at the same time. As it turns out, the only difference between the two tours is that the Express Tour goes directly to the North Cape without the two short stops along the way. However, in reality, if you sign up for the Express Tour you will still take the Summer Tour (with the two stops along the way to the North Cape) unless NCT has enough passengers to have a separate bus dedicated to the Express Tour. On our tour day, they only had enough passengers for one bus so everyone ended doing the two extra stops regardless of which tour they booked. No one seemed to mind. I doubt that anyone else even understood that there are actually two different NCT tours for Coastal Express cruise passengers.

3. The NCT website and booking confirmation say to meet the bus in front of the tourist office. That is confusing because there are actually two tourist offices. One is located in the museum very close to the Hurtigruten/Havila dock. That is not the correct location to meet the NCT bus. The correct location for the NCT is Fiskeriveien, 9751 Honningsvåg, Norway, which is the location where Google Maps correctly shows NCT to be located. The easiest way to find the correct location is to search for “North Cape Tours” in Google Maps and then get Google Maps walking directions. It is only about 175 meters from the ship. Once you get to the correct location, look for the bus that has a “406” sign taped to the windshield. Apparently, they refer to the NCT bus as Public Bus 406. However, calling it a public bus was confusing as the bus only appeared to be taking people who had booked one of the NCT tours. I do not think it was open to the general public.

4. Book your tour in advance. Our bus was completely full. I saw NCT turn away at least one walk up. The booking/payment system is mobile friendly and worked well.

The perfect tour to the North Cape. Several photo stops on the way to the cape and great company. This was more worth it than the tour with TUI because we were more flexible and could even watch the sunset. The price was almost half as much. Thanks

What a great experience. We went with our guide Bernadette around the island and the north cape and it was wonderful. She was taking a lot of time for us, explaining the various sights and areas on the island. It was amazing to stand at the edge of Europe and look out into the Arctic Ocean. It was also amazing to have such a knowledgeable and friendly company with us that made the whole trip an even greater experience. Thank you for your time to show us your world.

This was an excellent experience and at a much better price than offered by our cruise ship. Bernadette greeted us enthusiastically as we left our boat and guided us to a very comfortable and safe bus. The audio guide on board was very informative and very funny at the same time. The scenery on the way to the Cape was stunning. An excellent trip that we would happily recommend.

We travelled to Honnisvåg on a Hurtigruten cruise but hadn't booked one of their very expensive excursions. On disembarking we joined a North Cape tour to the Nordkapp, led by Marjolein. We really appreciated the help from Marjolein & her colleague as they managed to fit us onto their tour at the last minute We basically paid for transport to the Nordkapp rather than any extras at the Centre but the guide info on the bus was great (& pretty amusing!). Nordkapp itself is spectacular - beautiful in deep snow but we were lucky enough to have sunny weather too. Very impressed with Marjolein's driving given the snowy conditions! We'd happily recommend North Cape Tours & thanks to Marjolein & her colleagues for an unforgettable visit :)

I booked online at the last minute about an hour before the tour began. The price was much cheaper than that offered on our cruise ship. We were met by Bernadette as we walked off the ship. The tour bus was very comfortable and modern, but the windows were very dark tinted which made it impossible to take photos on the way up to the Cape. Bernadette was an awesome guide (very friendly and professional) and driver, esp in the icy and windy conditions. The pre-taped audio guide in English was brilliant - we particularly loved the humour!
Definitely recommended!
